What Harry Maguire did to Manchester United chief Ed Woodward after European Super League announcement

On Sunday it was announced that 12 European clubs, including Manchester United have joined the European Super League, which comes as a shock to all the fans around the world. It was announced late on Sunday night that six Premier League clubs – Liverpool, Man United, Manchester City, Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham – have all agreed to join the breakaway league. They have been joined by Spanish and Italian counterparts Real Madrid, Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, Juventus, AC Milan and Inter Milan. It has been reported that United chief Ed Woodward held emergency briefing with 'seriously unimpressed' players at Carrington on Monday morning. Some of the players were obviously angered they found out about ESL via media. It is also believed that head coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was thrown under bus and left to face press. Red Devils captain Harry Maguire has confronted Woodward at the meeting over the players (who went out and played on Sky as the news broke) not knowing about the plans, as sports journalist Mike Keegan reported.   Join us on Telegram!/ Follow us on Twitter!
