Marco Verratti will stay at PSG, according to the player’s representative.
The Italy midfielder is wanted by Barcelona and Juventus, with the playmaker touted as a potential long-term successor for Xavi.
However, his suitors are set for disappointment as his agent Donato Di Campli says he will honour his existing contract at PSG.
Speaking to Italian news agency Nansa, he said: “Marco Verratti will continue at PSG. He has a contract until 2021. He will stay in France.
“There is no doubt because he is a respectful person with contracts. Afterwards, if PSG ask us to leave, we will leave. It’s [too] soon to speak about a return to Italy. He is only 23.”
