Has it all to do to reverse Sandown form with Alnadam, but he’s miles better off at the weights and remains intriguingly unexposed over fences. Solid claims if the likely favourite falters.
2.05 Wetherby – CANELO
Odds: 7/2
Massive eyecatcher at Newbury last time, when a fast-finishing second behind impressive winner Cap Du Nord. He’d previously won three on the bounce over fences and now runs off just a 4lb higher mark than at Newbury. Reverting to three miles should get him home and hosed.
3.00 Kempton – WAITING PATIENTLY
Odds: 20/1
VBET traders have been waiting all year for this one. Not getting any younger, but he has very few miles on the clock and is a seriously good horse on his day. He was a 4/1 chance in this race two years ago when unseated early on, so the value is there in black and white. Reportedly working like a dream at home and is already a Grade 1 winner. At the prices, he’s a fantastic shout to at least make the frame.
