"Understand Spurs now have": Alasdair Gold drops major manager update

Football London journalist Alasdair Gold has provided a managerial update on Tottenham. Since the sacking of Jose Mourinho, a number of names have been linked with the move to the North London club, including Julian Nagelsmann, Brendan Rodgers, Erik Ten Hag, later also Graham Potter, Scott Parker and Roberto Martinez. Now, according to Gold, the Lilywhites have combined the list of the possible candidates for the managerial job. “Understand Spurs now have their shortlist for their next manager and will be pushing forward to hold talks." the journalist said (via Twitter). Gold claims there will be new unknown, names, however, there is also a list of the managers that are believed not to be a potential candidate, with the likes of Simone Inzaghi, Antonio Conte, Maurizio Sarri, Gian Piero Gasperini and Massimiliano Allegri.
