Unai Emery reveals plans for youngsters ahead of Real Madrid friendly

Arsenal head coach Unai Emery has confirmed that his side is going to have a strong starting line-up against Real Madrid. Arsenal have had an impressive pre-season so far and they are set to continue the unbeaten run when they face Los Blancos at the FedExField stadium. In the press-conference in the USA, Washington, Unai Emery has revealed that he is planning to field a team that will be similar to the one he starts against Newcastle on the opening day. “We started to playing against Colorado Rapids with a lot of young players and progressively we are using less minutes and to share with the experienced players,” he said. “It depends on the matches. Tomorrow, at the beginning I want to take more minutes with the players thinking about our progress for the first match against Newcastle. “But also, we are going to use some young players at the beginning or during the match to continue trying with this difficult capacity against Real Madrid.” Emery has also spoken about Joe Willock, who impressed fans with his goals against Fiorentina. “It depends, but at the moment he is playing and he is progressing,” he said when asked if Willock will play against Madrid. “I spoke with him last year, they started with us, one was Willock but really last year in the pre-season he didn't play and didn't use these minutes to take confidence with us last year. Progressively during the pre-season and progressively now it’s different. “He feels better with the confidence and he feels better with the tactics that we want. He is playing the matches with a good performance and he can get minutes in the next match.”
