Photo/Stuart MacFarlane/Arsenal FC Arsenal and Chelsea face each other in an all-English Europa League final this week. The Gunners reached the final after beating Valencia in the second leg 4-2 with hat trick from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and goal from Alexandre Lacazette. The winners of the Europa League automatically qualify for next season’s Champions League. They will also claim more than £7 million in prize money and a share of the television money depending on how many teams for their country have featured in the competition. Chelsea have already qualified for next season’s Champions League, as they finished third in the Premier League, while Unai Emery’s side need to lift the trophy in Baku in order to book a place among Europe’s elite next season. Ahead of the game, Arsenal boss Unai Emery has faced the press: “I am feeling well, I’m feeling good at this moment with a new opportunity for us. We have a big chance tomorrow for two targets, the most important to win one title. Each title is important for Arsenal. We want to enjoy this moment. I want to do something important here, for example, to play for this title. We deserved to be here, we feel to do something here. Our targets are in two ways to go to the Champions League and after to play with the titles. We are going to do two objectives tomorrow. Above all is to enjoy and play with all our good spirit. This competition is improving a lot. The last year's big teams have played in the final. Chelsea-Arsenal, I hope that can be a final in the Champions League, they and we have some of the best players in the world.” Emery answered whether he could surpass ex-boss Arsene Wenger. "All he did for Arsenal was amazing, my respect for him is more than the top. He gave this club a new football culture, I want to hold that. I learned a lot from Arsene Wenger as a coach and have big respect for him. I want to help Arsenal achieve all the possibilities in our way. Arsenal will be in the 10 best teams in the world. Our objective is to achieve that,” said Emery. Arsenal need to win the trophy to qualify for the Champions League and Emery said, it’s their objective: “We knew it was going to be difficult. We have the possibility to achieve that. Our possibility is to win a title and play in the Champions League next year. Now I can say the same as when we started. It’s going to be difficult. We can be, first, happy for this challenge tomorrow and with a very big responsibility to do all to achieve that.”
