Highly-rated young attackers Bukayo Saka and Xavier Amaechi trained with the Arsenal first-team as they are set to join Unai Emery’s matchday squad for the Europa League final.
The duo could be among the 23 that Emery will have to choose from when his side take on Chelsea in Baku later this month. UEFA confirmed last year that finalists in both the Champions League and Europa League would be able to name 12 substitutes.
Saka, 17, made his first-team debut in November and featured in three Premier League matchday squads over the festive period, while Amaechi had only recently returned from injury but he has been in exceptional form at youth level, scoring five goals and making five assists.
Eddie Nketiah and Joe Willock, both of whom played in Sunday's 3-1 season-ending win at Burnley, also joined the first-team and they are likely to be part of the travelling squad.
