UEFA major rule could affect Higuain and Chelsea

AC Milan star Gonzalo Higuain will reportedly join Chelsea in coming days. Argentine international has completed a move to Milan from Juventus, but failed to impress, as he now considers a reunion with Maurizio Sarri. Sarri and Higuain have worked together in 2015/16 season, when the forward scored 36 goals in Serie A campaign. However, Chelsea could be affected after the transfer, as Higuain will not be allowed to play in Europa League playoffs. According to UEFA rule, one player can’t play in the same competitions for two clubs. Higuain has played in UEL for Milan, which means he will not be able to help Blues in spring matches.
