Bob Arum has claimed he would accept Anthony Joshua’s fight offer if Tyson Fury beat Deontay Wilder in their rematch in February.
Joshua is keen to take on the winner in a unification clash.
Fury and Wilder set to meet each other again, after their first fight in 2018, when it ended with a controversial draw.
Arum explained the terms of the contract when it comes to a trilogy fight.
He told SiriusXM: “
The fact is that the contract now says he loser of the fight can demand a third fight, but he has to then take 40 per cent and the winner gets 60 per cent.
“But it’s up to the loser to pull the plug on the rematch. If Wilder, in that case, is the loser decides to go in another direction, then absolutely Fury will end up fighting (Kubrat) Pulev, who will have knocked out Joshua.”
