The transfers Arsenal must make this summer

Now, when the transfer window is fully underway, Arsenal are  already showing activity in transfer market. Gunners’ coach Unai Emery has a vivid plan to strengthen his squad ahead of next season. There’re a few players on his shortlist with priority adding to the defence. Juventus right-back Stephan Lichtsteiner and Borussia Dortmund centre-back Sokratis are very close to joining the club. But who else should Arsenal sign this summer? How Unai Emery will organize the transfers to have a strong team for 2018/19? Jan Oblak - Atletico Madrid Oblak has shown his perfect abilities as goalkeeper during Europa League semi-final against Arsenal and is among the world’s top three goalkeepers. Oblak was magnificent at the Emirates, as he has been for the past few seasons in Spain, and he is exactly what Arsenal need between the sticks. Now it’s time for Arsenal to get someone who will make difference – just as David De Gea does at Manchester United. Thiago Alcantara – Bayern Munich Alcantara who has been compared to Ronaldinho would bring brains and brilliance to a midfield that has been short of these qualities at times. Ousmane Dembele – Barcelona The Gunners should do everything in their power to get a deal done when Barcelona have an idea of loaning out the Frenchman. The winger should be a top priority. In case Antoine Griezmann makes the move from Atletico Madrid this summer to Barcelona, Dembele will need regular game time which he will be given at the Emirates. Abdoulaye Doucoure – Watford Doucoure has Premier League experience and has the abilities to dominate the middle of the pitch. The Frenchman can disrupt opposition play as well as kick-starting attacks for the Gunners.
