Tottenham team news ahead of Southampton clash: Three players out, one being assessed, one back to training

Tottenham are back to action on  Wednesday, as they are set to face Southampton in the FA Cup 4th round. Ahead of the clash Spurs have provided a team news update to journalists in attendance at Jose Mourinho’s pre-Southampton press conference at Hotspur Way this afternoon. Jose Mourinho's side took the lead in the first match  against the Saints thanks to Heung-min Son strike but were unable to hold on for win when Serge Aurier was dispossessed in the end of the second half and made to pay for the mistake when Sofiane Boufal found the back of the net. Spurs talisman Harry Kane, alongside Moussa Sissoko, is still sidelined, as they both continue their recovery from hamstring and knee injuries respectively. However, Ben Davies has now finally returned to training after his own injury spell. The club's newcomer Steven Bergwijn is unavailable for the match after joining the club following the initial tie had been played and Dele Alli is being assessed ahead of the match.
