Tottenham rule out a January move for Jan Vertonghen to Serie A
Tottenham are not considering selling Jan Vertonghen to Inter in January, as reported by The Guardian.
Belgium international is a long-time target for Serie A side.
Inter wanted Vertonghen last summer and keep on following the situation around the player in North London.
Spurs, meanwhile, hope to sign a new contract with star center back, who, however, hasn’t shown an intention to stay at the club.
Alongside Toby Alderweireld and Christian Eriksen, Vertonghen will become a free agent after this season.
Inter coach Antonio Conte is keen to improve his defense by signing 32-year-old player, if not now, then in summer.
