Tottenham plotting summer move for £20m Southampton star

Tottenham are reportedly interested in signing Danny Ings from Southampton in the summer of 2021. Ings not signing a new contract with Southampton has alerted Tottenham, who wanted to secure the services of the former Liverpool striker in the summer of 2020 but brought in Carlos Vinicius on loan from Benfica instead, according to the report. According to Eurosport, Spurs will put together a bid for the summer of 2021 if they feel that the England international is seriously considering his future at the Saints. Ings had injury problems at Liverpool, but the 28-year-old has been superb for the Saints – who had to pay £20 million in transfer fee for him, according to BBC Sport.
