Tottenham players on international duty, where they're playing and who has to quarantine


Several Tottenham players jetted off across the globe as the first international break of 2021 takes place. Although the coronavirus pandemic is still wreaking havoc around the world, games are still going ahead. It means that Jose Mourinho will have to do without a number of his first-team squad for ten days as they look to continue to put things right after they got back on track on Sunday with a 2-0 win at Aston Villa. One player who will now remain at the club's base ahead of the trip to Newcastle United is Son Heung-min after the Korea Football Association confirmed on Sunday that he had been excluded from their squad due to the hamstring injury he suffered against Arsenal. Due to come up against Croatia, Portugal and Switzerland in their group. Tanganga won't have to quarantine on his return. Hugo Lloris, Tanguy Ndombele, Moussa Sissoko- France France start with a World Cup qualifier against Ukraine before travelling to Kazakhstan and Bosnia and Herzegovina. There will no quarantine period for the trio. Matt Doherty-Republic of Ireland Starting off with a World Cup qualifier away in Serbia, Republic of Ireland then host Luxembourg at the weekend. They will then finish off their games with an encounter against Qatar now taking place in Debrecen, Hungary. There will be no need to quarantine for the right-back. Serge Aurier- Ivory Coast First up is an Africa Cup of Nations qualifier away at Niger before they finish with a home match against Ethiopia. He will not have to quarantine. Toby Alderweireld-Belgium Belgium start with a showdown against Wales in their World Cup qualifying group, with an away game at Czech Republic and a home match against Belarus to follow. Alderweireld will not have to quarantine. Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg- Denmark A home match against Moldova is between away trips to Israel and Austria, all of which are not on the red list. Ben Davies, Joe Rodon, Gareth Bale- Wales Starting off with a showdown against Belgium, they then host Mexico in a friendly in Cardiff before Czech Republic then travel to the Welsh capital. There will be no need for the trio to quarantine. Steven Bergwijn- Netherlands An away trip to Turkey kicks off their World Cup qualification before hosting Latvia and then travelling to Gibraltar. There will not be a quarantine period for the player.
