Tottenham players feel “happy” after Mourinho’s changes

Jose Mourinho since becoming Tottenham head coach has already made his mark on the club as has two wins from two after replacing sacked Mauricio Pochettino. As Daily Mail claim, during the last stages of Pochettino’s term, players felt that his training sessions were a little bit “stale”. However, Jose Mourinho’s takeover has brought new methods which seem to be well received. One key change that the Portuguese manager has made is that the sessions are less intense and he makes sure that there is a great emphasis on recovery after matches that has made players feel “happy” with the alterations. One player that already likes new methods of Mourinho is Lucas Moura who previously claimed: “Everyone knows I am not a No.9, it is not my best position. When Pochettino put me there I always gave my best because for me the most important thing is the team but each coach has one opinion, a different mind. Now I feel very good in this position. I always played in this position, I feel good and I am happy." After Tuesday’s 4-2 win over Olympiacos Spurs are set to face Bournemouth on Saturday in the frames of the Premier League.
