Tottenham have opened the talks with Hugo Lloris over a new contract, according to
Football Insider.
The 33-year-old has joined Spurs from Lyon back in 2012, while his current deal is set to expire in 2022.
It is suggested that Jose Mourinho's side are eager to sign a new deal with the Frenchman that will keep him at the North London club till the end of his career.
Lloris has come under some criticism, however, remained one of the key players of the squad. And the report claims that Mourinho considers him as the No1 goalkeeper of the team despite Joe Hart’s arrival to the club.
