Tottenham might follow Liverpool and sign a new goalkeeper in January

Tottenham No 1 Hugo Lloris was guilty of a huge error in Wednesday’s 4-2 Champions League defeat to Barcelona. Spurs captain rushed off his line in the second minute but misjudged the weight of Lionel Messi’s pass, with Jordi Alba setting up Philippe Coutinho to score in an unguarded goal. Former footballer Anthony Cascarino does not think Lloris is good enough for Tottenham. “Hugo Lloris is Tottenham’s club captain and he’s won the World Cup, but I don’t actually think he’s that good,” he told talkSPORT. “He’s a great shot-stopper, he’s always had that ability, but I’ve never felt he’s been that commanding. “He’s lightweight, he’s not very good with the ball at his feet and he makes rash decisions, he comes tearing out of his 18 yard box."
He thinks that Tottenham has to follow Liverpool and get a new goalkeeper.
