Tottenham man forced to withdraw from England squad due to injury

Ryan Sessegnon has been withdrawn from England U21 squad after picking up a knock in training. The 21-year-old Spurs man, who is currently on loan at 1899 Hoffenheim, will not be available for Tuesday's EURO 2023 opening match against Kosovo. A Football Association statement read:

“Tottenham Hotspur player Sessegnon has returned to his club for further assessment after picking up a knock in training.”
