According to reports from Spanish media outlet Mundo Deportivo, Ajax have turned down the latest offer from Tottenham Hotspur for Frenkie De Jong.

21-year-old De Jong was one of the best players in Eredivisie last season and was in radars of many top clubs including Barcelona and Tottenham. 

Spurs had made 50 m offer, but got rejected from Amsterdam club.

However, North London club is going to make another offer for De Jong in January. Dutch international can become the best replacement for Mousa Dembele, who’s already 31.
