Tottenham identify £53 m Serie A star as Christian Eriksen replacement

Tottenham are interested in signing AS Roma midfielder Lorenzo Pellegrini, as reported by Calciomercato (via Daily Mail). 23-year-old player is identified as Christian Eriksen replacement for Spurs. Dane is close to leave the club. In order to earn some money, Tottenham could sell star midfielder during the January transfer window.  Pellegrini has played in opening 6 matches for Giallorossi, but then has suffered metatarsal fracture in early October.  Tottenham plan to offer Roma a price between £43 m and £53 m.
