Tottenham Hotspur put a price tag on Christian Eriksen

Tottenham Hotspur have put a £220m price tag on the head of Christian Eriksen, according to Marca. Eriksen is one of few key members in Mauricio Pochettino’s squad, however, is yet to commit his long-term future to the club. Spurs are in talks with Eriksen over extending the deal, which expires in the summer of 2020. According to reports in Spain, Real Madrid are hopeful of prising him away from North London, but Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy has told the Spanish giants that it will take a world-record fee of £220m to sign him. The Denmark international has made 240 appearances for Spurs across all competitions, scoring 58 goals.
