Spurs get the approval from Brent Council for their planning application for the upcoming season.
Tottenham’s bid to host 27 matches Wembley has been approved by majority of five to one.
However, the board will probably do a lot of thinking before taking the actual decision. Spurs have time until 31 March to activate their option to play at the national stadium.
The club plans to move to a new stadium next to White Hart Lane which has yet to be built, and the closest possible time for Spurs to enter the new stadium is the 2019-20 season.
