Tottenham fans make fun of Christian Eriksen as dead leg can put him in doubt for Watford clash

Fans are making fun of Tottenham star Christian Eriksen, as it was revealed he may not play in the upcoming clash with Watford due to a dead leg. He picked up the knock during the international break with Denmark. He played full-time in the Euro 2020 qualifier 1-0 win against Switzerland and half-time in a 4-0 friendly over Luxembourg. Spurs’ fans do not seem to be impressed by the news and shared their opinions on social media: "Just give your leg a shake Christian and it’ll wake up again,” tweeted one fan. Another wrote: "Hard to come back from a dead leg. His career is clearly in jeopardy." Other supporters made jokes on Eriksen, as he has scored just once for Spurs so far this season,  and suggest he may have been carrying the injury for a longer period of time. One tweeted: "Eriksen has been carrying a dead leg for about 18 months now." Another added: "Two dead legs and ahead to match, unfortunately." Other fans believe the injury is actually just a cover for Eriksen to remain sidelined so he doesn't get injured ahead of the January transfer window, amid rumours linking him with Manchester United and Real Madrid. One fan tweeted: "Eriksen is going to get these random ‘injuries’ such as a dead leg, which cannot be proved by scans etc, between now and when he leaves in January."
