Tottenham defender Jan Vertonghen open to extending the contract at Tottenham after Jose Mourinho’s arrival, according to
Sky Sports.
Vertonghen recently returned from injury after not playing for a month.
The Belgian international is a free agent in the summer and was open to signing a new deal under former boss Mauricio Pochettino too.
Bayer Leverkusen and AS Roma had been linked with the 32-year-old centre-back.
The report adds that no formal discussions have taken place between Daniel Levy and Vertonghen’s camp.
