Tottenham are considering a swoop for Atletico Madrid striker Diego Costa, according to the Spanish outlet
Don Balon.
The 32-year-old's contract with the Spanish side is set expire in the summer of 2021 so that the player could be ready to negotiate for free transfer in January.
The report claims that Spurs are among the clubs eager to land the forward during the upcoming transfer window.
Costa's transfer to Tottenham could see the player reunited with his ex-Chelsea boss, Jose Mourinho, though he will have to agree to a pay cut in order to make a move to North London club.
