Romeo Lavia will leave Anderlecht and he is close to joining Manchester City. The Jupiler Pro League side wanted to offer the 16-year-old a contract, but he has turned down an opportunity to sign a deal with them. Lavia, who can play as a defensive midfielder or centre-back, took on social networking site on Thursday to announce his exit from the Belgian club. But he did not reveal his next destination. Belgian outlet Het Nieuwsblad states the English champions wait for the youngster after he confirmed his decision to leave Anderlecht. Within the report, it’s explained the ‘top talent’ had several choices to pick in England, but ‘everyone assumes’ his next club will be Manchester City.
