TOP 5 Premier League club’s worst signing of the decade

January transfer window is almost here and top European clubs are already planning to sign new players. In the last decade, Premier League has developed into the biggest league in world sport. The Premier League clubs have made huge transfers during this period and some great stars joined the teams during the January transfer window. However, there were signing that have turned out to be true disasters. Here are the top 5 worst January signing of the decade made by top 5 Premier League clubs. Chelsea Chelsea signed Tiemoue Bakayoko in the summer of 2017, after his stunning performances at AS Monaco. However, in the Premier League, he provides nothing and made his worst performance in Premier League history against Watford. Liverpool Lazar Markovic spent five years at the club, which included multiple loan spells and two Premier League goals. Liverpool replaced him by signing Mohamed Salah. Manchester City Eliaquim Mangala is still one of the most expensive defenders in football with his  £32m move from Porto in 2014. However, he has been a disaster at the Etihad and joined Everton on loan spell where he managed to play in just two games. Manchester United Manchester United signed Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal with a swap deal which included Henrikh Mkhitaryan. However, his best performance at the club was a piano show.  Mason Greenwood, 18, has already scored more goals for United this season than Sanchez managed during his woeful year-and-a-half with the club. Tottenham Roberto Soldado joined Spurs with a nickname “Goaldado”. However, he scored just seven goals in his 52 Premier League appearances. Source- GMS
