Manchester United have finally agreed on a deal to sign Burno Fernandes from Sporting Lisbon. The attacking midfielder has been one of the greatest players in terms of attacking output. The player has hit 15 goals this season, while last season he scored 32. The midfielder will head to Old Trafford as part of a deal worth an initial €55 million (£47m/$60m). United could pay up to €80m (£68m/$88m) for the Portuguese star due to a number of additional clauses United have confirmed a deal is in place, subject to medical and personal terms. “Manchester United is delighted to announce it has reached an agreement with Sporting Clube de Portugal for the transfer of Bruno Fernandes,” a club statement said. “A further announcement will be made in due course.” The €55million fee will be the highest United will spend in the January transfer window.
