TOP 10 contenders for the Premier League Golden Boot award 2019/20

Premier League is one of the best football leagues in the world. Players and clubs face huge competition in their title race. Every season, all football players in the Premier League are doing all in their might to score more goals and the reason not only to help their clubs.  Players want to clinch individual titles and one of the most famous titles is the Premier League Golden Boot award. Last season Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang shared the award after they scored 22 goals. In 12 games this season, Premier League clubs have scored 340 goals in total.  Twenty-five players have scored more than three goals but there are only 10 who scored more than five. Here are TOP 10 Premier League players, who are big contenders for the award. Harry Kane Last season Tottenham Hotspur captain scored 17 goals in his 28 appearances. However, this season has not started so well for the England international. Kane has scored just six goals and created only one assist in his 985 minutes and 11 appearances for the Spurs. The stat means that Kane scored a goal in every 164 minutes. Teemu Pukki Premier League newcomer Norwich City had a surprise for all the strikers as their star Teemu Pukki has joined the race of Top Scorers. Despite Norwich are in the last place of the Premier League table, the Finland international has scored six goals and created two assists in his 1067 minutes for the club. The Finland international has scored a goal in every 178 minutes. Marcus Rashford Manchester United have struggled to impress with their game, as they are in the seventh place of Premier League table after twelve games. But their star forward Marcus Rashford still trying to score more goals. Rashford has scored six goals and created three assists in his 1039 minutes for the Red Devils. The England international scored a goal in every 173 minutes. Mohamed Salah Liverpool star Mohamed Salah scored 22 goals last season but he is yet to find the net in the way he can. Salah has scored only six goals and created only three assists in his 944 minutes for the Reds so far. The Egyptian international scored a goal in every 157 minutes. Raheem Sterling Manchester City star Raheem Sterling has been regarded as one of the best strikers in the world. The England international has scored seven goals and created an assist in his 972 minutes for Pep Guardiola’s side. Sterling scores in every 139 minute. Manchester City will want to retain their title this season and Sterling will once again play a key role as he sets his sights on the Golden Boot. Sadio Mane Liverpool star Sadio Mane has proved he can score goals as he did it 22 times last season. This season so far the Senegal international has scored seven goals and created two assists in his 968 minutes for the Reds. Mane scores a goal in every 138 minutes. The Reds need to keep scoring goals to maintain their lead at the top and Mane's enrichment will be critical. Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang Arsenal star Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang showed why he has been one of the most feared strikers in the world in recent years, as he scored 22 goals last season. This season so far, the Gabon international has scored eight goals in his 1080 minutes for the Gunners. The attacker will surely be right there at the top in terms of total goals. Sergio Aguero Manchester City star Sergio Aguero has spent almost a decade in the Premier League but has one the Premier League Golden Boot just once in his career. Aguero has scored nine goals and created two-assist this season so far in his 735 minutes for the club. Aguero scores a goal in every 82 minutes and he may be one of the top contenders for this individual title as well. Tammy Abraham Tammy Abraham, 22, was gracing the Championship last season on loan at Aston Villa and this is now one of the leading goalscorers for the Blues. Abraham has scored ten goals and created two assists in his 897 minutes for Chelsea. The youngster scores a goal every 90 minutes. If Chelsea keep performing like they are now, Tammy will be right there at the top. Jamie Vardy Leicester City star Jamie Vardy is one of the in-form players in the league. Vardy has scored eleven goals and created two assists in his 1080 minutes for the Foxes. The ex-England international is one of the leading contenders for the Golden Boot award. He scores a goal in every 98 minute he plays.
