Three reasons why Arsenal should not sell Sead Kolasinac

Bosnian star Sead Kolasinac joined Arsenal on a free transfer in summer 2017 from Schalke 04 and immediately showed his quality.  Kolasinac scored on his debut against Chelsa in the FA Community Shield, which Arsenal won on penalties. The left-back made his Premier League debut on an opening day, providing an assist in a 4-3 win over Leicester City and for his performances, he was voted as Arsenal’s Player of the Month in August, earning more than half of the votes. We can talk about his opening success for hours, however, two injuries Prevented him from continues success.  He missed three Arsenal games with ankle problems between January 1 and January 11 in 2018. In addition, seven games with knee injury between August 2 and September 25 in the same year.  The left-back missed 64 days with injuries at all. Football.London suggested that he’s not comfortable as a left-back as he struggles in one v one situations: “But fans have seen he is a different prospect at left-wing back. If a new left-back arrives and Emery sticks with four at the back then Kolasinac could leave.” If they can see one reason to sell Kolasinac, then we have three reasons why it could be a wrong move to do so. Prime age Kolasinac, 25, is reaching the peak of his career. The player is only second senior left back at Arsenal and if Nacho Monreal, 33, will return to Spain, then Kolisinac will become the only one. Arsenal can sign any other left back but who can guarantee that newcomer will be able to adapt well in the first team and start playing on a regular basis. The Bosnian exactly has offered much more for the club this season and he deserves attention from manager Unai Emery. Instead of selling, the Spaniard should make him one of the key men in the team next season. Strong Attacking Instincts Not many defenders can brag about attacking ability. Kolasinac is eager to charge down the flanks and help his side in the attack and because of his strong physique, there are hardly any opponents who are capable of bringing him down or stopping his play. In his time at Arsenal, the Bosnian has scored five goals and provided 12 assists in his 61 appearances in all competitions. We can compare him with one of the best left backs in the world- Jordi Alba.  Kolasinac has made 8 assists this season so far. Fighting Spirit Talent and hard work are not enough to win the games or trophies. Every club and team need players who have a fighting spirit. Under Arsene Wenger, it was hard to see the Gunners secure a comeback because of the lack of fighting spirit. Kolasinac never gives up and Emery will be happy to have a player like the Bosnian. The 25-year-old cheers when team scores, leads example when the team is at a disadvantage. Emery needs him on the pitch as Kolasinac has been one of the vital players evoking this fighting spirit.
