Thomas Tuchel keen on signing £23m wonderkid this summer for Chelsea

Chelsea are reportedly keen on landing Saint-Etienne midfielder Lucas Gourna-Douath. The 17-year-old is considered as one of Ligue 1's finest young talents, featuring in all but four of his side's outings this season including nine first-team starts. According to French outlet Foot Mercato, Italian giants AC Milan and German outfit RB Leipzig are also said to be interested in the midfielder's services. The report claims that various bids have been made in recent months, but it remains to be seen whether he will agree to become Thomas Tuchel's first signing at Stamford Bridge or opt to pursue a move elsewhere. Saint-Etienne are reported to be willing to sell Gourna-Douath after admitting defeat with regards to their prospects of keeping him beyond the end of the season.
