Thomas Tuchel already told Roman Abramovich he wants 18-year-old midfielder

Chelsea are reportedly interested in signing Bayer Leverkusen youngster Florian Wirtz whom Thomas Tuchel considers a “priority” transfer target. According to Spanish outlet El Nacional, the Blues' boss has already informed club owner Roman Abramovich that the signing of the 18-year-old is a priority. Chelsea have also made their moves, but Leverkusen rate the teenager as a €100million (£85.4m) talent. Wirtz has already had seven goals and seven assists from 13 appearances in the Bundesliga and the Europa League this term. The midfielder is often compared to Kai Havertz for obvious reasons, as well as their versatility as an attacking midfielder.
