Newcastle United are about to have a new owner, as Mike Ashley have agreed to sell the club to Amanda Staveley's PCP Capital Partners for £300m.
The deal is backed by the Saudi Arabian Public Investment Fund and Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman, who could turn the Magpies into one of the richest clubs in the Premier League and even in the football world.
So
talkSPORT has made a Newcastle starting XI, which includes players from the Magpies fans' wildest dreams- Kylian Mbappe, Moussa Dembele and more.
However, back in May 2019, when Sheikh Khaled’s takeover bid emerged, Newcastle actually became second favourites to sign PSG talent Mbappe, behind Real Madrid.
The Magpies have also been
cited with an interest in Lyon forward Moussa Dembele, which no longer seems too unreal.
Meantime, Newcastle could come up with a better offer for Lille midfielder Boubakary Soumare, who
turned down a move to St James’ Park in January.
So, take a look at the starting XI made by talkSPORT:
