Michael Owen has shared his full praise for Aaron Ramsdale following Arsenal's loss to Liverpool at the weekend.
Gunners faced a 4 - 0 defeat, with Sadio Mane, Diogo Jota, Mohamed Salah and Takumi Minamino scoring the winning goals for their team.
Despite the result, Owen was impressed by Ramsdale's display in general.
“Liverpool knocked and knocked in that first half, but the goalkeeper was in inspired form,” he said on
Premier League Productions.
“He made a couple of great saves, and you are thinking, ‘It’s his lucky day again’.
“He was brilliant against Leicester away in the last away performance, and today again he made some super saves, until that last chance, I would say, that Sadio Mane scored.
“He is certainly in great form at the moment. He kept Arsenal in.”
