Steve Bruce speaks up on Peter Kenyon's bid to buy Newcastle
Newcastle head coach Steve Bruce says he's not aware of the news that Peter Kenyon made a bid to buy the club.
As reported earlier, former Manchester United and Chelsea chief executive has launched £300m bid.
"It's news to me. It's not something I can comment on. I was informed something was breaking last night, I haven't heard anything to the contrary." Bruce told Sky Sports
"You're asking the wrong person. The only thing I can influence is how we play on a Saturday or a Sunday.
"You have to get used to it. It's happened to me before. With this club in particular, there's always speculation surrounding it and it's never happened. Let's watch this space." he added.
Newcastle will face Leicester City at King Power Stadium on September 29.
With 5 points after 6 matches, The Magpies are 17th.
