Stephen Curry reacts to Kevin Durant’s criticism of NBA fans

Stephen Curry fully supports his former Golden State Warriors teammate Kevin Durant and his recent criticism of the poor behavior of some NBA fans. On Sunday after the Brooklyn Nets took down the Boston Celtics in Game 4, Durant addressed the incident in which a Beantown fan threw a water bottle at Kyrie Irving while he was heading to the locker room. Durant did not hold back in a rather passionate statement, as he spoke about what other athletes are probably feeling about the recent incidents of unruly behavior by fans. “Fans got to grow up at some point. I know that being in the house for a year and a half with the pandemic got a lot of people on edge, got a lot of people stressed out, but when you come to these games, you have to realize these men are human. We are not animals, we are not in the circus. You coming to the game is not all about you as a fan,” Durant said in part, per Malika Andrews of ESPN. Then Steph retweeted the full transcript of Durant’s statement and simply tagged him on Twitter.
