“I was speechless,” Wolves youngster on a big phone call and his admiration of Nuno

Wolverhampton Wanderers’ youngster Terry Taylor has opened up on the big phone call received from Ryan Giggs and his admiration towards head coach Nuno Espirito Santo. The 18-year-old midfielder was handed his senior debut at Wolves in October in the match against Aston Villa. Speaking to BBC Sport Taylor has talked about head Coach Nuno saying: “The manager is brilliant. I feel like he has helped me personally as a player and all the other young lads as well. He is not afraid to tell you what you need to improve on. It’s nice to see that he has got faith in me and other young players. Hopefully we can repay that.” He also has talked about the big call he received from Ryan Giggs: “The manager phoned me. He said, ‘It’s Ryan Giggs here’. I was just about speechless,” Taylor added. “He was one of my biggest idols when I was growing up. It was a nice feeling and it was good to go and meet up with the squad. To train with the lads with the quality they have in the group - it was amazing.” Taylor has made 5 appearances for Wolves this season so far and has netted and assisted once. Source- BirminghamLive
