Gareth Southgate will only consider accepting a contract that runs until the end of Euro 2020 if he is to become England manager on a full-time basis, according to Sky Sports.
In addition, Southgate will expect financial parity with both his predecessors and other external candidates when he enters into negotiations with the Football Association on Monday.
Southgate’s four-game stint in interim charge came to an end on Tuesday, and FA chief executive Martin Glenn has told that Southgate is in a “strong position”, but did not rule out interviewing other candidates.
