Sky Sports: Bundesliga to restart season later this month after government approval

The Bundesliga season is ready to restart in the second half of May, with the German government giving the green light. Football competitions have been suspended due to the coronavirus outbreak, leaving the games' completion up in the air. Two of Germany's neighbours, the Netherlands and France, have already decided on finishing their seasons. The German league will be the first one to return to action after a long-term postponement. Clashes in Germany's top two divisions can take place later this month, without fans. Most of the Bundesliga clubs have nine matches left to play this term. The league leaders are Bayern Munich, four points ahead of Borussia Dortmund in second.
