'Shock' - Liverpool man makes honest admission on Mateo Kovacic's goal

Jordan Henderson has admitted that Liverpool were in 'shock' after Mateo Kovacic's goal for Chelsea. After leading 2-0, the Reds were pegged back by a fantastic volley from Kovačić, before Christian Pulisic equalized the score before the break. Speaking to Premier League Productions, the Anfield captain admitted that his side hadn't performed well as the Croatian's goal was a ‘fantastic finish’.
“Going 2-0 up, we would be disappointed at conceding two goals so quickly before the end of the first half,” said Henderson.   “I think if we can get to halftime, then you probably come out in the second half and you are in a better position.   “We were a little bit in shock with the set-piece and the first goal. Then the second goal is poor, from our point of view. I mean, the first one is a fantastic finish, to be fair.   “We didn’t play particularly well. But I think the lads showed heart to keep going and got a point, in the end.”
