‘Scrap it’: Shaq says what will be the best decision for the NBA season

NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal believes the season should not restart. The National Basketball Association’s regular season is on pause since March due to the coronavirus pandemic.  5 regular season games and 2-month play-offs marathon should still be played, but O’Neal says it will be better to scrap it.  "Everybody go home, get healthy, come back next year," he said (cited by BBC).  "To try and come back now and do a rush play-offs as a player? Any team that wins this year, there's an asterisk. "What if a team that's not really in the mix of things all of a sudden wins with a new play-off format? Nobody is going to respect that. "So scrap it. Worry about the safety of the fans and the people. Come back next year." O’Neal added.  Milwaukee Bucks and Los Angeles Lakers are currently leading in the Eastern and Western conferences respectively.  Here is the list of the teams that are qualifying for the play-offs at this moment.  Eastern Conference: Milwaukee Bucks, Toronto Raptors, Boston Celtics, Miami Heat, Philadelphia 76ers, Indiana Pacers, Brooklyn Nets, Orlando Magic Western Conference: LA Lakers, LA Clippers, Denver Nuggets, Utah Jazz, Houston Rockets, Oklahoma City Thunder, Dallas Mavericks, Memphis Grizzlies
