Salford Red Devils vs Leeds Rhinos: 21-man squads are announced

Salford Red Devils vs Leeds Rhinos 21-man squads have been announced and vice-captain Rhyse Martin is set to make a comeback for the Rhinos. The second-rower missed last week’s victory over Hull KR after minor surgery, but has been named in Rhinos’ initial 21-man squad for this weekend and will captain the team as Stevie Ward misses out again due to concussion. Alex Sutcliffe, who can play in the second-row or at centre, comes into the squad for the first time this year, after recovering from a broken hand. They are added to the 17 on duty last week and Rhys Evans, Callum McLelland and Tom Holroyd are also included in the initial 21. Salford are without scrum-half Kevin Brown who begins a two-match ban and Dan Sarginson, Lee Mossop and Josh Johnson also drop out from the 17 which lost to Huddersfield Giants last Friday. Oliver Roby, who signed this week on a season-long loan from Huddersfield Giants, could make his debut. Chris Atkin  is set to take over from Brown and former Leeds forward Jack Ormondroyd could come into the team alongside Krisnan Inu, Gil Dudson, Seb Ikahihifo, Mark Flanagan and Elliot Kear, Leeds Rhinos’ 21-man squad is: Jack Walker, Harry Newman, Konrad Hurrell, Ash Handley, Rob Lui, Luke Gale, Ava Seumanufagai, Matt Prior, Alex Mellor, Brad Dwyer, Liam Sutcliffe, Richie Myler, Adam Cuthbertson, Mikolaj Oledzki, Rhys Evans, Cameron Smith, Callum McLelland, Luke Briscoe, James Donaldson, Alex Sutcliffe, Tom Holroyd.
