Romelu Lukaku rejoins Manchester United training despite transfer talks

Romelu Lukaku has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford after failing down the pecking order under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. He was targeted by Inter Milan following the appointment of long-time admirer Antonio Conte as manager though there has been no bid tabled so far. Lukaku travelled with the rest of United’s first team players to Australia but was left out of the squad which beat Perth Glory 2-0 on Saturday due to a ‘small problem’. However, he has rejoined his teammates and appeared in a relaxed mood during the training session, and was seen in close discussions with assistant Michael Carrick while putting the players through their paces. United's next test comes against their old enemy Leeds United, which is their final match in Australia before moving on to China to take on Inter Milan and Tottenham in the International Champions Cup.
