"Roger Federer has not hinted about possible retirement," Ivan Ljubicic

Following the 2020 Australian Open, Roger Federer had knee surgery and he would not have been able to play until after the French Open, had the ATP Tour not been suspended to coronavirus pandemic. Hs coach Ivan Ljubicic has just talked about this surgery. Check out what he said. “Roger is recovering, he is doing rehabilitation after the surgery. For us, it does not change much, with everything the bad luck that we had with this situation. The program is the same even if there was a virus.” On whether Roger would continue in 2021, Ljubicic said: “We have not talked yet about 2021. Time certainly does not stop and he will be 40 next year, but he has not hinted about a possible retirement. Federer had undergone knee surgery in late February and had planned to miss the season until the grass-court season prior to the tennis tour shutting down.” Roger has already confirmed he will play at the Halle Open in 2021.
