Riyad Mahrez details role Mohamed Salah played in failed Liverpool transfer move
Riyad Mahrez has revealed that before he joined Manchester City, there was an interest from Liverpool, however, the Reds signed Mohamed Salah.
Mahrez joined City in the summer of 2018. During this season, the 29-year-old has made 37 appearances in which he has scored 9 goals and provided 14 assists.
Speaking to beIN Sports on Instagram Live, Mahrez said: "Before signing for Manchester City, there was interest from Liverpool in me, but as soon as they took Mohamed Salah, it was finished."
