Rio 2016. Final medal count

Rio 2016 has come to its end revealing the whole medal count table for the countries.

From the very first day of the Games United States has been leading the table, and they finish with a total of 121 medals, 46 of which are gold. Great Britain and China are there to follow USA, but with much less success.

Losing around 100 athletes due to doping scandals, Russia still managed to find its place in top-4 with 19 gold medals. Thus, the first 4 positions are the same as at London 2012 Games, with China and Great Britain having switched the places.
