The club James Maddison wants to join- reports

Leicester City midfielder James Maddison wants to join Manchester United, with the club preparing to rebuild the squad. Maddison joined Leicester from Norwich City for £24million in 2018 and has already scored 9 goals this season. The England international has been remarked as one of the main targets of the Red Devils and sources close to the 23-year-old have told the MEN he "would have been at Old Trafford years ago" if it was up to him. It was reported that Maddison is likely to sign a new contract with the Foxes. However, there are still talks over the midfielder's possible move. United have named Maddison and Aston Villa's Jack Grealish in their recent with-list. The club are optimistic of signing the Englishman, and their sources have said 23 is the perfect age to recruit the player.
