REVEALED: The player who could perfectly replace Alexandre Lacazette against BATE Borisov

Arsenal will welcome BATE Borisov on Thursday  at the Emirates in Europa League second led match. Arsenal player Alexandre Lacazette will miss the game after lashing out with his elbow as the Gunners fell to a shock 1-0 Europa League defeat in Belarus. Arsenal U23's coach Freddie Ljungberg has sent a message to Unai Emery about who will perfectly replace the Frenchman in the upcoming fixture. Ljungberg has told the Spanish tactician that youngster Eddie Nketiah is ready to make the step up. "If he gets the call, he’s ready to play without question," Ljungberg told the Islington Gazette. "It’s totally up to the manager, I’ve always thought we have players who are ready to do well but it’s up to the first team. "All I can do is advise and try to get the players as ready as possible. "It’s important for Eddie to play games. "As a striker, you can’t just train because you want to feel that feeling to get yourself in the right place at the right time to score. "That’s why I think it was important for Eddie to play so he’s ready when he gets a chance in the first-team. "He needs games, as a striker he always needs to be playing." Nketiah has made two starts in the Europa League but is yet to open his account for the campaign at senior level.
