Reports; Canelo’s close to his next fight, Golovkin - Derevyanchenko to happen?

According to what has been reported by Mike Coppinger, Saul Canelo Alvarez’s team is currently in negotiations with Sergey Kovalev’s side over the possible fight.  Mexican boxer could move to 175 in order to meet with Russian opponent, which means he will be deprived of his IBF title.  IBF has given Canelo’s side some time to think on organizing a fight with mandatory contender Sergey Derevyanchenko. The meeting with Kovalev, however, is a more beneficial choice for Saul’s team.  Under these circumstances, IBF will organize a new fight for the vacant title and Sergey Derevyanchenko will meet Gennady Golovkin.  Source - Mike Coppinger’s twitter
