Reports; Arsenal prepare an offer for Copa America 2019 top-scorer

According to what has been reported by Globo Esporte, Arsenal are interested in signing Brazil national team midfielder Everton Soares. 23-year-old Everton has become one of the best player in Copa America 2019. He scored 3 goals, one of them in the final match against Peru. Arsenal sporting director Edu Gaspar had a meeting with Brazilian businessman Gilmar Viloz and asked about the qualities of Soares, as Gunners will reportedly make an offer to Gremio. Atletico Madrid and Napoli are also interested in signing Brazil international. Spanish side have offered 35 m, but Gremio are yet to answer them. Considering the limited budget of Arsenal (45 m, according to reports), it will be hard to compete with La Liga side, however, Edu hopes he can reach an agreement with Gremio and use the fact, that Everton himself would love to join North London side.
